About this centre
The Axis building at Maingate is a prestigious, state of the art, high specification building, located at the North entrance to the Team Valley Business Park. Regus occupy three floors of this six storey building, which is less than one mile from the A1 and visible from the motorway. Maingate is well served by public transport and both Newcastle city centre and the main train station are approximately 4 miles from the centre, with the Metro train service running from Newcastle airport to Gateshead. The city of Durham is approximately a 15 minute drive via the A1 and Sunderland can be accessed from the A1 South via the A1231 link to the A19 South. The Maingate development also has a news agents, O' Brians Irish Coffee Bar and Greggs.A new leisure club will open in April 07 with indoor heated swimming pool, Japenese steam rooms, saunas and treatment rooms and coffee bar in addition to general gym facilities. The Tulip hotel is less than 1 minutes walk the centre.
